Moon Sweepers Endgame: What to Do After Upgrades Are Maxed
Solve late-game cleaning, capsule and factory bottlenecks after upgrades are exhausted in patch 1.0.5.
The endgame begins when buying another upgrade stops being the obvious next step. Your job is to turn a working factory and cleaners into sustained region progress. Launch-week player reports compiled by Moon Sweepers Wiki describe maxing many upgrades while the Moon counter is still below 1%. Those are individual reports, not a guaranteed threshold. The developer's October 30 announcement acknowledges requests for more late-game rewards.
Confirm what is maxed
Check every Upgrade Matrix category and the Garage upgrade menu for each vehicle. In co-op, the host's Matrix is shared with the crew under patch 1.0.3. Tools, vehicles and the Matrix are separate purchase paths; one full menu does not prove the others are exhausted. The upgrade path covers earlier buying decisions.
Diagnose the bottleneck
| What you see | Check before spending more |
|---|---|
| J.O.O.N.A.S. cleans, but capsules accumulate | Trace the Capsule Catcher output through belts, processing and depot intake. Another robot adds load. |
| One catcher fills while another stays empty | Patch 1.0.5 targets the emptiest catcher in the nearest group, then another group when the first fills. Check version and grouping. |
| Machines pause or sales stall | Inspect power, inputs, belt direction and output. Patches 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 fixed packing problems in some bases. |
| Robots finish local ground, but the Moon percentage barely moves | Move fixed-range vacuums to fresh regions and inspect J.O.O.N.A.S. activity on the map. The full-Moon task dwarfs a local zone. |
The official 1.0.4 and 1.0.5 patch notes document robot behavior, catcher routing and fixes. Confirm a line works from cleaner to sale before buying another J.O.O.N.A.S. If collection outruns selling, add throughput or clear the blocked branch. If the line has spare capacity, add cleaners on fresh ground. Keep a vehicle on broad open areas when its active route advances regions. These are operational checks, not a claimed optimal robot count or factory ratio.
Measure progress
Record the Moon map's overall percentage and completed regions at the start and end of a session. Change one thing: repair a route, relocate a vacuum, or add one supported collector. Recheck the counters. This distinguishes a real bottleneck from the naturally slow Moon-wide percentage. If a sector remains at 99.9% or incorrectly shows 0% without dust, patch 1.0.5 includes fixes; update and reload before rebuilding.
The ending guide explains the separate full-Moon trigger. Update 1.1, including proposed machines, tools and expanded progression, was planned for December 2026 and remained in development at this check.
Version scope: Checked November 3, 2026 against numbered patch 1.0.5; update 1.1 is a plan, not released content.
